Mark your calendars!
Beauregard Camp 130 would like to invite everyone to join us for our revival of the old Decoration Day tradition at Metairie Cemetery on Saturday, April 3rd.
Attached is the flyer with full details. This year we will visit almost 60 tombs to leave flowers, ribbons, bows, and other mementos to show the world our heroes are not forgotten.
The day will start with an old fashion picnic on the lawn of the Army of Northern Virginia Tumulus.
Decoration Day is the precursor to our modern Memorial Day celebration. The South started it! This is a great family event. Kids of all ages welcome.
Deo Vindice, Deo Gratias.
