Below is the schedule of events for the 2021 Battle of Pleasant Hill.
In Louisiana, there are two strong pro-Confederate areas. One is Camp Moore and the other Pleasant Hill. All of us who support, promote & defend our Southern Heritage should take the time to support any activities held in these places. We have great opportunities to help these areas grow and spread our mission for protecting & preserving our Louisiana History.
Whether you are a reenactor who decides to do living history & fight on the battlefield or an onlooker that comes out with friends & family to watch the activities, everyone has the ability to support and promote one of the best reenactments in the state while drawing attention to our Mission and our Charge.
Please make plans to attend and participate in some way. We change the narrative by becoming the narrative.

2021 Battle of Pleasant Hill Re-enactment Schedule of Events
April 9-11, 2021
The Battle of Pleasant Hill re-enactments and activities in the re-enactors camp will take place 3 miles north of Pleasant Hill at 23271 Hwy. 175, Pelican, LA.

9 AM – 1 PM School Day
Saturday, April 10, 2021
6:30 AM – 9 AM Breakfast – Battlefield Hall
10 AM Battle of Pleasant Hill Parade – Downtown Pleasant Hill
11 AM Battle of Pleasant Hill program at Mansfield State Historic Site
12 PM – 1 PM Guest Speaker: Donne Kennedy, “They Fought for Us” – Battlefield Hall
1:30 PM Opening Ceremonies
2 PM Battle Reenactment
6:30 Luminary Memorial Ceremony – Battlefield (FREE and open to the public)
7 PM Period Ball and Court Presentation – Elam-O’pry House (Period dress suggested)

11 AM to 12 PM Guest Speaker: Richard Holloway, “Bravery on Display: The Charge of the Texas Cavalry and Other Stories at Pleasant Hill” – Battlefield Hall
1 PM Crowning Ceremony of 2020-2021 Miss Battle of Pleasant Hill followed by Opening Ceremony
2 PM Battle Re-enactment
