Private Armelin Linscombe, Company K,
10th Louisiana Infantry Regiment (postwar)
He was severely wounded at the Battle of Sharpsburg, MD,
hit in the neck by a musket ball, and was disabled. He was
captured and held at Fort McHenry, Baltimore, Maryland.
He was eventually paroled and returned home to St. Landry Parish
Louisia. He married after the war and had 10 children.
He farmed in Louisiana and Texas and died in 1914.
and is buried in China Cemetery in Texas.
His last name is mispelled Lincicome in his military records.
