The South's Defender Monument, Lake Charles, Louisiana
The monument was severely damaged in Hurricane Laura in 2020
and it still has not been repaired by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury.
Please contact the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and ask when it is going
to be repaired. It is the oldest, and most honored historic
monument and war memorial in Southwest Louisiana. Thank you.
